Olcese Water District proudly serves the water interests of the beautiful Rio Bravo Valley located at the western edge of the Sierra Nevada mountain range where the Kern River flows into California’s fertile Central Valley.
The district consists of 5,100 acres of land and supplies irrigation water to picturesque Rio Bravo Ranch where citrus, cherries, almonds, and olives are grown. It also delivers water to nearby Rio Bravo Golf Course.
In addition to its water distribution facilities, the district owns and operates a hydroelectric facility on the Kern River that generates clean energy for California’s power grid.
